Grades 6–12 · every core class

Their phone unlocks when today's studying is done.

Study Vault locks the apps that eat your student's evening until they finish a short session on what each class is covering this week. No nagging, no negotiating. They earn their phone back every day, and you see the progress.

How it works

A daily habit, tied to this week's lessons.

You set it up once on their phone. After that, the vault does the reminding.

1

You set it up on their phone

Pick the apps that go in the vault, choose their grade and this year's classes, enter the first day of school, and set your parent PIN.

2

They do today's session

Quick lessons, flashcards, and questions from the unit each class is on right now, plus review and their weak spots, with instant explanations.

3

The vault opens until midnight

Apps come back and the streak grows. Every Sunday you get a report on days studied, accuracy by class, and what to focus on next.

Paced to the school year

Tonight's practice is tomorrow's class.

Most study apps hand your student a pile of everything. Study Vault follows each course's unit sequence across your school calendar, so practice lands on the material they're seeing in class this week.

  • 1
Built from your calendar. Enter the first and last day of school and the units spread across the year, with breaks built in.
  • 2
A two-tap weekly check-in. The student confirms which unit each class is on, so a class that's ahead or behind is fixed right away.
  • 3
Review never disappears. About a quarter of every session revisits earlier units, and their weakest skills come back until they stick.

Inside a session

Short, varied, and a little bit like a game.

Every session mixes three kinds of practice. Correct answers earn XP, combos stack, and levels and streaks keep them coming back.

QUICK LESSON Science
Why a dark car gets hotter than a white one

Light carries energy. Light surfaces reflect most of it, while dark surfaces absorb it, and that absorbed energy becomes heat.

Tip: dark colors don't make heat. They keep more of the light's energy.

A one-minute lesson first

When a new skill comes up, they get a short explanation and a worked example before the questions start.

Weekly parent report

Every Sunday: days studied, accuracy by class, where each class is, and the skills to focus on next week.

Quality gate

Optional: below your target accuracy, a short make-up round on the missed skills comes before the vault opens. Rushing doesn't work.

Holidays and free passes

Major holidays are off automatically, weekends are your call, and you can grant a free-pass day any time. Streaks are protected on days off.

FAQ

Questions parents ask.

How does it know what my kid is learning this week?

Each course follows a common unit sequence, spread across your school calendar. Once a week the app asks the student which unit each class is on, with the estimate pre-selected, so a class that's ahead or behind is corrected in two taps. You can also set it from the Parent area.

Can my student just turn it off?

With a Family Sharing child account, no. The permission is approved from your device and the student can't revoke it. On a device without a child account, iOS lets any user revoke Screen Time access in Settings, and the app tells you which mode is active.

Does it block calls or texts?

Phone calls and emergency features are never blocked. You choose exactly which apps or categories go in the vault.

How long is a daily session?

You set the goal. A typical session is about 20 minutes, mixing a quick lesson when a new skill comes up, a few flashcards, and practice questions.

What about weekends and holidays?

Major holidays are off automatically, weekends are your call, and you can grant a free-pass day any time. Streaks are protected on days off.

Is it safe for an 11-year-old?

The student side has no account, no name, no email, no ads, and no third-party trackers. Everything identifying stays on the parent's side. See the Privacy Policy.

Does it cover honors, AP, or my state's version of a class?

Courses follow the common sequence for each subject and grade. Honors and AP classes usually cover the same units faster, and the weekly check-in keeps practice matched.

Is this tutoring?

No. Study Vault builds a daily study habit tied to what's happening in class. It doesn't guarantee grades, and it isn't a monitoring or safety product.

Study Vault is a product of Provident Financial Group, LLC. Study Vault does not guarantee any improvement in grades or test outcomes. Curriculum names identify the sequences our practice follows and belong to their respective owners, who are not affiliated with this product.
